The newly appointed Advocate General of Bihar, S. D. Sanjay, received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the advocates of the Patna High Court. The hall echoed with prolonged applause, reflecting the immense respect and confidence that members of the Bar have placed in their new Advocate General.
The occasion also witnessed the presentation of certificates of victory to the newly elected office-bearers and Executive Committee members of the Advocates’ Association following the recently concluded elections. The certificates were jointly presented by S. D. Sanjay, Advocate General of Bihar, Manan Kumar Mishra, Chairman of the Bar Council of India, Ramakant Sharma, Chairman of the Bihar State Bar Council, Yogesh Chandra Verma, President of the Patna High Court Advocates’ Association, Jaishankar Prasad Singh, General Secretary of the Association, Poonam Singh, Vice President, and Sanjeev Singh, popularly known as ‘Geeta Wale Baba’.
However, the highlight of the event was undoubtedly the address delivered by Advocate General S. D. Sanjay.

Yogesh Chandra Verma, President of the Patna High Court Advocates’ Association, congratulated the newly elected representatives and remarked that their victory symbolized not just individual success, but the collective trust and confidence of the entire legal fraternity. He urged all advocates to preserve the unity and dignity of the Association.
General Secretary Jaishankar Prasad Singh, Vice President Poonam Singh, and other office-bearers also reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the welfare of advocates and strengthening the institution.
