December 21st 2024, Abhishek Kumar, Gaya: In a major success for Gaya Police’s ongoing anti-Naxalite operations, two fugitive Naxalites were arrested. SSP Ashish Bharti revealed that the arrested individuals include notorious Naxalite Kaushal Yadav, alias Krishna Yadav, and another operative, Aditya Bhuiya, alias Naresh Bhuiya, alias Kundal.
Key Arrest Details
- Kaushal Yadav’s Arrest:
Kaushal Yadav, a resident of Devania village in Dhangai, was wanted in connection with Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 528/13. In 2013, Yadav was involved in the killing of MPN Naxalite leader Sanjay Yadav and an associate. The duo was shot dead, and their licensed revolver was looted. SSP Bharti noted that ten Naxalites connected to this case had already been arrested previously. Kaushal Yadav remained on the run until now. - Aditya Bhuiya’s Arrest:
Aditya Bhuiya, wanted in Dumaria Police Station Case No. 4/12, was also apprehended. A resident of Bagpur, Bhuiya had attacked a police party in the Bagpur forest, injuring several officers during the encounter.
