Bolero Falls from Bridge; Three Cooperative Department Employees Injured

Sheikhpura: December 21st 2024, Dharmendra Kumar: A serious road accident occurred near Murarpur Mor in Sheikhpura’s Nagar police station area, leaving three employees of the Cooperative Department injured. The mishap took place on the Sheikhpura-Mehus road near the Tati River Bridge, where a Bolero vehicle lost control and plunged off the bridge.

Details of the Incident

The injured have been identified as Bablu Paswan, Prabhash Chandra, and Vikas Tiwari. According to reports, Vikas Tiwari, who works as a senior clerk at the District Cooperative Office, was learning to drive when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fall into the Ratoiya River below.

Local residents rushed to the spot upon hearing about the accident and alerted the police. With the help of locals, the injured were rescued from the vehicle and taken to a nearby private clinic for treatment. Vikas Tiwari sustained severe head injuries and was referred to a higher medical facility for advanced care. The other two employees suffered minor injuries and are in stable condition.

The timely intervention of locals and the swift response of the police prevented the situation from turning fatal. However, the incident highlights the need for enhanced safety measures on the bridge and the importance of practicing driving in safe conditions.
