Rohtas, Mithilesh Kumar, December 31st 2024: The highly sensitive Badal Singh murder case, which took place in Sasaram under Nagar police station limits, will now be investigated by the CID. The accused Traffic DSP has been transferred to headquarters, as announced by Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar during a press briefing at the Dehri police superintendent office.
SP Roshan Kumar stated that the investigation into the Badal Singh murder case has been conducted with complete transparency, utilizing scientific methods and evidence-based approaches to ensure justice for the victim’s family. He emphasized that efforts have been made to uncover the facts behind the incident and provide justice.
The SP revealed that statements from one of the parties involved are still pending. Additionally, the motive for the altercation with the Traffic DSP will become clearer after the interrogation of individuals associated with the seized motorcycle.
The SP assured that the case has been handled transparently so far and will now be overseen by the CID to ensure a comprehensive investigation. The CID will record statements from all involved parties. Meanwhile, the accused Traffic DSP has been sent to headquarters.
This development comes as the administration aims to ensure a fair and impartial inquiry into the matter.
