Patna, December 12 2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha (Ground Zero): While taking healthcare to the people, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flag off 109 free medicine distribution vehicles from his residence at 1 Anne Marg. All these vehicles will deliver essential drugs and medical supplies to under-accessed areas, thus offering quality health care to everyone but particularly in remote villages across Bihar.
With the fleet lined up and ready to roll, the Chief Minister spoke with conviction about the government’s dedication to improving public health. “Healthcare is a basic right, and it’s our responsibility to ensure no one is left behind. These vehicles are a step toward fulfilling that promise,” he said.
A Simple Yet Powerful Gesture
Before the flag-off, Nitish Kumar was greeted with a green plant by Pratyaya Amrit, Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department. It was more than just a ceremonial greeting; it spoke of hope, growth, and a greener, healthier Bihar.
