Gender Harassment Awareness Workshop Conducted at Real Estate Appellate Tribunal

Patna, December 12th 2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha: The Bihar Real Estate Appellate Tribunal recently organized an awareness workshop on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013. This initiative aimed to educate participants about the rights of women in the workplace and promote awareness of the legal provisions designed to ensure their safety and dignity.

The workshop highlighted the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment for women in professional settings. The Hon’ble Chairperson and Hon’ble Judicial Member, Shri Bateshwar Nath Pandey, attended the event, underscoring the significance of the initiative. The Registrar of the Tribunal provided insights into the program, noting that it was conducted as per the directives of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar, Patna.
