Patna, Advocate Suman Kumari, Legal Correspondent, 29th April 2026: A grand felicitation ceremony for the newly elected Executive Committee of the Advocates’ Association 2026 was held today at the Centenary Building of Patna High Court.
A large number of advocates attended the event to welcome and congratulate the newly elected office bearers and executive members.
Senior Advocate Yogesh Chandra Verma was felicitated as President, while Sri Aringad Kunwar and Shatrughan Pandey were honored as Vice Presidents. Jai Shankar Prasad Singh was felicitated as Secretary General, and Pushpa Sinha as Treasurer.
For the post of Joint Secretary, Deepak Kumar Singh Chauhan and Poonam Kumari were honored. Assistant Secretaries felicitated during the ceremony included Sanjeev Kumar Mishra (Geeta Wale Baba), Anita Kumari, Patla Kumari, and Sweta Singh.
Senior Executive Committee members honored included Kameshwar Prasad Sinha, Satish Kumar Sinha, Rathore Vasundhara, Shashi Shekhar Tiwari, and Saroj Shandilya.
Executive Members felicitated were Shikha Roy, Neetu Kumari, Rachna Kumari, Kumari Kalpana Mishra, Samita Pandey, Madhav Kumar, and Amit Kumar Mishra.
Members of the Vigilance Committee honored included Mundrika Ram, Rajneesh, and Soni Kumari. Auditors Dr. Manoj Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, along with Library Committee member Amrendra Kumar, were also felicitated.
During the event, advocates expressed hope that the new committee would work for the welfare of the legal fraternity, uphold the dignity of the judicial system, and strengthen coordination between the Bar and Bench.
