Inauguration of Upgraded Emergency Department (Six Beds) at Central Super Specialty Hospital, Patna

Hajipur, 11.12.2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha: On December 11, 2024, the Central Super Specialty Hospital in Patna inaugurated its upgraded Emergency Department, which now includes six additional beds, bringing the total number of beds to 10 beds. The inauguration was carried out by General Manager Chatrasal Singh.

With the addition of these six upgraded beds, the Emergency Department of the Central Super Specialty Hospital, Patna, now offers a total of 10 beds. This upgraded facility will benefit registered employees and beneficiaries from all divisions of East Central Railway, as well as neighboring regional railways, who have a total of 89,044 U.M.I.D. cards. This includes around 800-900 patients per day in the OPD and 600-700 patients per month in the IPD.

The event was attended by various senior officials, including the Head of Headquarters, Hajipur, Division Railway Manager/Danapur Jayant Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Medical Director Dr. Jagdish Chandra, Medical Director Dr. Subodh Kumar Mishra, Additional Chief Medical Director (Administration) Dr. A.K. Ojha, Additional Chief Medical Director (Obstetrics Specialist) Dr. Sandhya Kiran, and other medical professionals.

The General Manager assured full cooperation of the continued development and to support of the hospital, ensuring that it receives all the necessary resources and attention to achieve outstanding excellence in the service.
