Pawan Kumar, Jehanabad, 21st December 2024: A tragic accident occurred on the Patna-Gaya railway line at Jehanabad Court Halt, creating panic among passengers. A man from Shakurganj village in the Parasbigha police station area lost his life after slipping while attempting to board a train. The victim, who was traveling to Gaya for medical purposes, fell under the moving train and died on the spot.

The victim had planned to catch a train from Court Halt to Gaya for medication. However, during the boarding process, he lost his balance, slipped, and fell under the train. Local residents immediately informed the railway police about the accident.
The railway police arrived promptly at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. They also notified the victim’s family, who were devastated upon hearing the news.
