The newly expanded facility was formally inaugurated by the Chief Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo, along with Justice Sudhir Singh, Justice Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, and Justice Mohit Kumar Shah.
With this development, the dispensary has now evolved into a modern multi-specialty healthcare centre, aimed at providing comprehensive and quality medical services to judges, advocates, and court staff within the premises.
QR-Based Medicine Distribution System Introduced
A dedicated medicine store and distribution counter has been established for efficient storage and dispensing of medicines. The facility now features a QR code-based system that enables real-time tracking of medicine availability, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for patients.
Advanced Physiotherapy Unit
The dispensary’s physiotherapy unit has been equipped with advanced machines and equipment. Facilities such as Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), TENS machines, ultrasonic therapy units, and digital traction systems are now available, significantly enhancing pain management and rehabilitation services.
X-Ray and Eye Care Facilities
A fully functional X-ray unit has been set up, complete with a separate changing room and necessary patient amenities. Additionally, modern eye care diagnostic tools, including a fundus examination (ophthalmoscopy) machine, auto refractometer, and slit lamp, have been installed to enable detailed and accurate eye examinations.
Cardiac and Pathology Services
The dispensary now also offers cardiac diagnostic services with the installation of an ECG machine, which records the electrical activity of the heart and helps detect various cardiac conditions. Furthermore, a well-equipped pathology laboratory has been established, allowing on-site testing of blood and other clinical samples, ensuring timely diagnosis and improved patient care.
