Patna, Advocate Suman Kumari, Legal Correspondent, April 23rd 2026:In a significant development for Bihar’s judicial landscape, an important and thought-provoking meeting on women’s reservation was held at the Patna High Court on Thursday. The meeting took place at the Advocates’ Lounge within the High Court premises and was chaired by Yogesh Chandra Verma, President of the Advocates’ Association.
A large number of advocates, including both male and female lawyers, participated in the discussion. The primary objective of the meeting was to deliberate on various aspects of the Women Reservation framework and explore ways to enhance women’s participation in the judicial system.
During the session, several advocates stressed that increasing women’s representation is crucial not only in the judiciary but across all sectors.
