27th December 2024, Dharmendra Kumar, Sheikhpura: In a shocking incident, a teacher was brutally murdered in the Chewara police station area of Sheikhpura district on Friday morning. The victim, identified as Pintu Rajak, was on his way to school on his motorcycle when unidentified assailants ambushed him near Basant village. The attackers stopped him and shot him in the chest, killing him on the spot.
Upon receiving the information, Chewara police station officers and Inspector Rajeev Kumar rushed to the scene. The police took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem to the Sadar Hospital. This gruesome murder has instilled fear and shock among the local residents.
Sheikhpura S.D.P.O. Dr. Rakesh Kumar stated that a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Initial findings suggest that the murder might be the result of personal enmity. However, no concrete leads have been found so far. The police are conducting an extensive search in the area to identify and apprehend the culprits. They are also questioning locals to gather more information about the incident.
