To facilitate operational efficiency, the Railway Administration has implemented the following temporary changes in train operations due to non-interlocking (NI) work for the commissioning of automatic signaling between Chureb and Munderwa stations on the Gorakhpur-Gonda section.
Train Cancellations:
- Train No. 04137 Gwalior-Baruni Special scheduled to depart from Gwalior on 25th December 2024 will remain canceled.
- Train No. 04138 Baruni-Gwalior Special scheduled to depart from Baruni on 26th December 2024 will remain canceled.
Route Diversions:
- Train No. 02563 Baruni-New Delhi Special departing from Baruni on 24th December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 02564 New Delhi-Baruni Special departing from New Delhi on 24th December 2024 will run via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur instead of the usual Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Special departing from Darbhanga on 24th December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 02570 New Delhi-Darbhanga Special departing from New Delhi on 24th and 25th December 2024 will run via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur instead of the usual Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 15274 Anand Vihar Terminal-Raxaul Express departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on 23rd and 24th December 2024 will run via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur instead of the usual Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur route. It will not stop at Mankapur, Maskanwa, Babhnan, Gauri Bazar, Basti, and Khalilabad stations.
- Train No. 05283 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special departing from Muzaffarpur on 24th December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 05284 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Special departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on 24th December 2024 will run via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur instead of the usual Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 09190 Katihar-Mumbai Central Special departing from Katihar on 24th December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route. It will not stop at Khalilabad, Basti, and Mankapur stations.
- Train No. 05577 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminus Special departing from Saharsa on 23rd December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route. It will not stop at Basti station.
- Train No. 05578 Anand Vihar Terminus-Saharsa Special departing from Anand Vihar Terminus on 24th December 2024 will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of the usual Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda route.
- Train No. 12554 New Delhi-Saharsa Express departing from New Delhi on 23rd and 24th December 2024 will run via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur instead of the usual Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur route. It will not stop at Basti and Khalilabad stations.
Passengers are kindly requested to note these changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
