Patna, 27th December 2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha: To facilitate passengers during the Ananda Marga religious conference, two pairs of express trains will make temporary halts of one minute each at Punadaga Station from 27th December 2024 to 4th January 2025.
- Train no. 18105 Rourkela-Jaynagar Express will arrive at 10:21 PM and depart at 10:22 PM.
- Train no. 18106 Jaynagar-Rourkela Express will arrive at 8:05 AM and depart at 8:06 AM.
- Train no. 18621 Patna-Hatia Express will arrive at 2:16 AM and depart at 2:17 AM.
- Train no. 18622 Hatia-Patna Express will arrive at 12:14 AM and depart at 12:15 AM.
Additional Kumbh Mela Special Trains for Mahakumbh-2025
In anticipation of increased passenger traffic during the Mahakumbh-2025, Indian Railways will operate four additional pairs of Kumbh Mela Special trains on the following routes:
- Bhubaneswar-Tundla-Bhubaneswar Special (Train No. 08425/08426):
- Bhubaneswar-Tundla: Departs on 1st, 8th, and 22nd January, as well as 5th, 19th, and 26th February 2025 at 12:30 PM, arriving at Tundla at 8:15 PM the next day.
- Tundla-Bhubaneswar: Departs on 3rd, 10th, and 24th January, and 7th, 21st, and 28th February at 3:00 AM, arriving in Bhubaneswar at 7:00 AM the next day.
- Puri-Tundla-Puri Special (Train No. 08417/08418):
- Puri-Tundla: Departs on 6th and 20th January, and 17th February 2025 at 12:30 PM, reaching Tundla at 8:15 PM the next day.
- Tundla-Puri: Departs on 8th and 22nd January, and 19th February at 3:00 AM, arriving in Puri at 9:45 AM the next day.
- Titlagarh-Tundla-Titlagarh Special (Train No. 08314/08313):
- Titlagarh-Tundla: Departs on 9th, 16th, and 23rd January, as well as 6th, 20th, and 27th February at 5:00 PM, reaching Tundla at 2:30 AM on Saturday.
- Tundla-Titlagarh: Departs on 11th, 18th, and 25th January, and 8th, 22nd February, and 1st March at 5:00 AM, arriving in Titlagarh at 11:00 AM the next day.
- Visakhapatnam-DDU-Visakhapatnam Special (Train No. 08530/08529):
- Visakhapatnam-DDU: Departs on 9th, 16th, and 23rd January, and 6th, 20th, and 27th February at 5:35 PM, reaching DDU at 4:30 AM on Saturday.
- DDU-Visakhapatnam: Departs on 11th, 18th, and 25th January, and 8th, 22nd February, and 1st March at 8:10 PM, arriving in Visakhapatnam at 3:25 AM on Monday.
Extended Operation Period for Hyderabad-Raxaul Special Train
To enhance passenger convenience, the operation of the weekly Hyderabad-Raxaul Special Train (Train No. 07051/07052) has been extended until 1st April 2025.
- Train no. 07051 Hyderabad-Raxaul will run weekly until 29th March 2025 instead of ending on 28th December 2024.
- Train no. 07052 Raxaul-Secunderabad will now operate until 1st April 2025 instead of ending on 31st December 2024.
