Temporary train disruptions and unexpected changes due to crucial non-interlocking work in Jhunsi-Prayagraj Rambagh Section.

Patna, 08th December of 2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha: Train operations in the section have been diverted on a temporary basis in view of non-interlocking work being undertaken in association with the Banaras-Prayagraj Junction Doubling Project, which includes patch doubling between the Jhunsi-Prayagraj Rambagh stretch. The details of the affected trains are as follows:

Cancellations of trains:

• The 13346/13344 Shaktinagar/Singrauli-Varanasi Express, running from Shaktinagar/Singrauli between 09th and 12th December, 2024, will stand canceled.
• The 13343/13345 Varanasi-Singrauli/Shaktinagar Express from Varanasi between 08th to 11th December, 2024, will remain canceled.
• The 14006 Anand Vihar Terminus-Sitamarhi Express from Anand Vihar Terminus between 09th to 11th December, 2024, will remain canceled.
• The 14005 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar Terminus Express between 11th to 13th December, 2024 will remain canceled.
• The 12561 Jayanagar-New Delhi Express from 08th to 10th December, 2024 will remain canceled.
• The 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Express running from New Delhi between 09th and 11th December, 2024 will be canceled.
• The 12791 Sikandrabad-Danapur Express running from Sikandrabad between 08th and 10th December, 2024 will be canceled.
• The 12792 Danapur-Sikandrabad Express running from Danapur between 09th and 11th December, 2024 will be canceled.
• The 20933 Udhna-Danapur Express running from Udhna on 10th December, 2024 will be canceled.
• The 20934 Danapur-Udhna Express from Danapur leaving on 11th Dec, 2024 will stand canceled.
• The 03310 Jammu Tawi-Dhanbad Express from Jammu Tawi leaving on 08th and 11th December, 2024 will stand canceled.
• The 03309 Dhanbad-Jammu Tawi Express from Dhanbad leaving on 10th December, 2024 will stand canceled.

Route Changes:

• The 11061 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Jayanagar Express, running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on 08th, 09th, and 10th December, 2024, will be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chiwki-Mirzapur-Varanasi-Jaunpur-Aundihar on the usual route. The train will not stop at Naini Jn., Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Varanasi City, or Sarnath stations.
• The 19421 Ahmedabad-Patna Jn. Express, which departed from Ahmedabad on 08th December, 2024, will be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chiwki-Mirzapur-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. and will run without halts at Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, and Kashi stations.
• The 22669 Ernakulam-Patna Jn. Express which will depart from Ernakulam on 07th December, 2024 will be diverted and run without halts at Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh, Gyanpur Road, and Varanasi stations.
• The 11062 Jayanagar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express, leaving from Jayanagar on 09th December, 2024, will be diverted on Aundihar-Jaunpur-Varanasi-Prayagraj Chiwki-Manikpur. The train will not stop at Sarnath, Varanasi City, Varanasi, Gyanpur, Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh, or Naini Jn. stations.
• The 19422 Patna Jn.-Ahmedabad Express leaving from Patna Jn. on 10th December, 2024, will be diverted on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chiwki-Manikpur. This train will not halt at Kashi, Varanasi, Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj Rambagh, or Prayagraj Jn. stations.
• The 22670 Patna Jn.-Ernakulam Express departing from Patna Jn. on 10th December, 2024 will also be diverted via Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chiwki-Manikpur. The train will not halt at Varanasi, Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj Rambagh, or Prayagraj Jn. stations.

Short Termination and Short Origination:

• The 12333 Howrah-Prayagraj Rambagh Express running from Howrah between 07th and 11th December, 2024 will be short terminated at Banaras. It will not run between Banaras and Prayagraj Rambagh.
• The 12334 Prayagraj Rambagh-Howrah Express running from Prayagraj Rambagh between 08th and 12th December, 2024 will originate from Banaras. It will not run between Prayagraj Rambagh and Banaras.

To avoid inconvenience to the passengers, it would be advisable that someone contacts the concerned railway authorities or stations for updated train schedules.
