Tributes Paid to Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on His Death Anniversary

Patna, December 15th 2024, Vikas Kumar Ojha: A state ceremony was organized at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue Complex near Patel Chowk, Chitkohra Bridge, to commemorate the death anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid heartfelt tributes by garlanding the life-size statue of Sardar Patel.

Additionally, several social and political activists gathered to pay homage by garlanding the statue.

The Information and Public Relations Department organized a series of cultural performances to honor the legacy of Sardar Patel. Artists presented devotional songs, hymns, the Bihar Geet, and patriotic songs. These performances celebrated Sardar Patel’s extraordinary contributions, sacrifices, and role in nation-building.

Speakers at the event reminisced about Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in India’s independence movement and his unparalleled efforts in uniting the princely states to form a cohesive nation.
