Gaya, Kaushar Alam, 11th April 2026: A serious case of administrative negligence has surfaced from Jogapur Middle School in Sherghati block, where students are facing major academic difficulties due to the supply of wrong textbooks. Despite being a Hindi medium school, Urdu medium books have been distributed to Class 7 students, severely affecting their studies.
The incident has raised serious questions over the functioning of the education system, as students who are supposed to study in Hindi are struggling to understand the Urdu textbooks provided to them. This mismatch has created confusion among students and disrupted their learning process.
However, the school administration has taken prompt action in the matter. Principal Digvijay Singh highlighted the issue and immediately lodged a complaint with the Block Resource Centre (BRC), demanding replacement of the incorrect books. He emphasized that the future of students cannot be compromised due to such negligence and proper study materials must be provided at the earliest.
While the school is making efforts to ensure that students’ education is not hampered, the lapse on the part of BRC Patna has come under scrutiny. The incident has sparked debate over accountability in the education department.
Now, all eyes are on the authorities to see how quickly corrective measures are taken. Timely intervention will be crucial to prevent any long-term impact on students’ academic progress.
